The aim of the project is to improve milk production through professionalisation, modernisation and tailored advice. In the second phase of the project, the focus is on promoting expertise in modern dairy production systems, particularly on family farms.

The objectives include Kazakhstan's self-sufficiency in dairy products in compliance with environmental and animal welfare standards. The target groups are specialists and managers from advisory service providers and specialised institutions in the dairy sector, farm advisors with different requirement profiles and managers of family and large farms. Representatives of all target groups receive very practical training at the Bayserke Agro (AFZ) training and further education centre, with group training courses being held in villages for small farms and household farms.

The results of the second project phase should be an increase in specialist skills, improved operating results, the creation of a competence centre and the long-term safeguarding of milk production advice.

The project is implemented by ADT Project Consulting GmbH (lead partner) and IAK Agrar Consulting GmbH.
